Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program 2025-2026

The Call for the Fulbright Visiting Scholarships for the academic year 2025–2026 for Candidates and Doctors of Science, researchers and professionals is open now.

The application deadline is October 15, 2024.

The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program provides an opportunity to conduct research at leading universities, research centers, libraries, museums, and archives in the U.S. for a period of 3 to 9 months.

 

 

 

Eligibility requirements:

  • Faculty members and researchers with a Candidate of Sciences, Ph.D., Doctor of Arts, or Doctor of Science degree.
  • Researchers without a degree but with at least 7 years of research experience and established academic authority in their field.
  • Cultural and art professionals, librarians, museum specialists, journalists, and public figures with equivalent experience.

The program supports research in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and technical sciences.

Key requirements for applicants:

  • Ukrainian citizenship and residency in Ukraine during the competition.
  • Proficiency in English sufficient for professional communication.
  • A commitment to return to Ukraine for two years after completing the grant.

Grant terms:

  • Monthly stipend.
  • Medical insurance.
  • Round-trip airfare.
